A name or location typed into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Yadkin County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own end.
Messages
An email or contact message may be kept so a reply can be sent and the exchange can be managed. It is not shared outside the organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Technical Data From A Visit
Normal page requests can create basic technical records, such as:
- IP address
- Browser and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time on each
- Referring site, if available
- Request timestamps
Cookies
Cookies may help show how visitors use the pages. Browser controls can block them, though some features may work differently when cookies are disabled.
Why The Information Is Used
- Keep pages available and responsive.
- Send search requests to the correct partner service.

Links And Outside Providers
The pages link to the Yadkin detention center, sheriff’s office, town police, courts, NCDAC, federal locators, archives, news outlets, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves for another service, that service’s privacy policy controls.
Some advertising partners may track activity across sites for targeted advertising on their systems. That tracking is not controlled by this service.

Personal data is not sold by this service. It may reach the following parties:
- Search partners that process widget entries.
- Analytics services.

- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.

Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet-connected system is fully secure. No promise can be made that the service is breach-proof.
People Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor submitted data, a request may be sent to ask that it be deleted.
